Sadness Leaflet for Teens – Item 513

This is a sadness leaflet for teens, useful for KS3 upwards. If you want a leaflet with younger clipart please look at our Sadness leaflet for KS2.

Important information

This leaflet is meant to be used as part of ELSA Sessions or some other therapeutic session and shouldn’t just be given out to children without some input. They need to learn and understand about sadness and how to cope with being sad by an adult. Please DO NOT just give these out without that important input. They are purely reminders for the pupil to take away.

It is your responsibility to decide whether the information in this leaflet will be helpful to your pupils.

Under our terms and conditions these leaflets must not be put onto school websites.

They are for printing and giving to pupils at the end of a session or you could use them as a basis for your sessions. You can work through each part with the pupil. You can practise some of the things on the leaflet such as 3 good things or gratitude.

There is an editable box for contact details. This is editable in Adobe PDF reader which is a standard reader that most people will have.  This box could have the ELSA contact details. It could be a person in school and for older students you may want to add an external helpline number or website.

The leaflet is offered in colour and black and white. It is also offered with and without clipart. If you are a teacher for example, and are working with your full class then printing black and white will be a much easier and cheaper option.
