Being Active Poster - Elsa Support

Being Active Poster

This is a being active poster and it also includes a black and white version for collaborative colouring. It prints on A3 but you could make it smaller if you wish using Adobe print settings.

Regular physical activity is vital for the healthy growth and development of children. It strengthens bones, muscles, and cardiovascular health, while also helping to maintain a healthy body weight, thus reducing the risk of obesity and related health issues. Furthermore, physical activity enhances cognitive function and academic performance by improving concentration, memory, and problem-solving skills. It also boosts mood and mental health by releasing endorphins, promoting feelings of happiness and well-being, and reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.

It makes sense to promote physical activity in our children from a young age.

Our Active April Leaflet promotes physical activities.

We also have an Active April Lesson plan

"A fantastic and inspirational website. The resources are an ELSA's dream, everything is so well thought out and each one can be used for more than one purpose. I have recommended the website to other ELSA's in my supervision group and they all think it's great too!"
