Tree of Connections
This is a tree of connections activity for children’s mental health week.
The theme is ‘Let’s connect’ which is all about the friendships and relationships we have and connecting with other people on a regular basis. It is a huge boost of self esteem for children to feel like they belong and they have connections with others. That might be within school, their class, their family, friendship groups or special interest groups.
This pack is available in colour and black and white. Pupils simply cut out the pieces, write on the leaves and make their tree. Pupils need to think about all the people they connect with. Write their names on the leaves or they could draw their pictures for younger pupils.
They will then have their own tree of connections.
