About me Poem template
About me (Poem template) This worksheet is useful for whole class, group or individual use. The child can write a poem all about them. Each section has an ‘I’ statement. The child has to think of a way of finishing each sentence. You could do this activity as a circle time and get each child to answer the beginning statement. A set of cards are included for this. This will get them thinking and also able to share other children’s ideas. The child can then write their own poem.
This ‘about me poem template’ is also a fabulous warm up activity and if working one to one you could both write one to find out about each other.

- 3 templates (one in black and white)
- A set of cards for circle time or discussion
