Be In-Charge Workbook and Resource Pack – Item 484
The Be In-Charge workbook is all about our energy levels. What drains our energy? What powers up our energy. This workbook will use the metaphor of a battery to help children understand their energy levels and how things like stressors can zap their batteries. To charge their batteries they need to think about coping skills such as self care, breathing exercises, mindfulness, exercise, eating well, and getting enough sleep.
They will think about their feelings, what they do and their body signs when their battery is empty and when their battery is full, leading them to understand that a full battery is best.
This resource pack is suitable for Year 2 upwards and possibly secondary providing they don’t mind the clipart batteries.
