Teen Belonging Chat Cards – Children’s Mental Health Week
Belonging is about more than fitting in. For many teens, it’s closely linked to feeling safe, understood and able to be themselves. The This Is My Place Teen Belonging Chat Cards are designed to support thoughtful, low-pressure conversations around belonging, identity and masking. The cards help young people explore how it feels to belong, why people sometimes hide parts of themselves, and what makes spaces feel safer and more inclusive.
The pack uses carefully worded, non-intrusive prompts that allow teens to take part in ways that feel comfortable. Questions are grouped into clear categories to support choice, emotional safety and appropriate pacing.
