Summer Happiness Challenge 2019

Each year for the past 4 years I have done a Summer Challenge where children can take these away at the end of term and fill them in over the summer holidays. If they bring them back in September they can receive a certificate and bookmark.  After a lovely ELSA contacted me last year I included a very simple diary where children can either draw, write or stick a photo in to do with that particular challenge. This years challenge is based on happiness/wellbeing. The things suggested should help children to find their ‘HAPPY’. Children seem to love being challenged to do something and hopefully they will find it an enjoyable activity over the long summer.

People are asking for one for 2019 so here it is.

We have

  • Summer challenge sheet
  • Summer challenge certificates
  • Summer challenge bookmarks
  • Summer challenge diary
  • Summer challenge mindful colouring

As always ELSA Support gives away a lot of free resources. This is a pay back and great big thank you for supporting the website. Without your purchases of our pay for resources the site really wouldn’t exist.

I hope your children love getting involved with our Summer Happiness Challenge.

You can download the pack here. It is zipped so make sure you open on a computer/laptop or get an app for your phone in order to open it.

Thank you. This is just what I needed to keep connected with the children, who are receiving ELSA, while they are away from school for the five and a half week break. 🙂

I think this is a brilliant idea to keep connected with the ELSA children over the summer holidays. I am unable to print off the diary. Have tried many different ways but I am unable to get it to print. Any suggestions?

I can’t really advise on individual’s printing arrangements but as a rough guide you need to open the pdf with Adobe Acrobat reader and you shouldn’t have a problem. It might be worth speaking to your IT person in school if that doesn’t work or if you are using some other PDF viewer. All the best
