What is behind my face mask? – item 385
What is behind my face mask? You will find 25 foldable templates focusing on emotions in this pack.
Children are now seeing many people wearing facemasks which must make it difficult to read emotions on people’s faces. This resource will help children to read emotions by just looking at the eyes.
Lots of uses such as:
- Introduce a new emotion to the child to prompt discussion and vocabulary.
- Discussion on when they felt that emotion.
- Play a guessing game to see if the child can guess what the emotion is just by looking at the eyes. Discuss how our eyes change with different emotions.
- Introduce facemasks so they become part of everyday use.
- Give the blank one to a child for them to tell you how they are feeling by drawing their face and folding to show the mask. Can you guess how they are feeling?
- Show them the eyes and mask (folded) can they make the mouth themselves?
