Thoughts Feelings and Actions Resources – Item 112
The Thoughts Feelings and Actions resources pack will help children to understand how their thoughts affect their feelings and how those feelings affect their actions or behaviour. That behaviour then reinforces their initial thoughts. When children think negative or bad things it makes them feel bad. These feelings can cause them to misbehave in some way. Teaching children using the Thoughts, feelings and Actions resources how to change negative or bad thoughts can help them to feel better. This does take practice but with one to one support they will improve in time.
Included in the Thoughts, Feelings and Action Resources pack is:
- A 23 page workbook. You can print on A4 or A3 paper depending on how much space is needed for drawing or writing
- Flashcards, purposely created in black and white to save ink costs. You can easily print onto coloured card.
- Takeaway cards. Visual reminders to children to change their negative or bad thoughts to good thoughts.
- A poster to display.
