These Social and Emotional Support EXCEL assessments are perfect for an ELSA or anyone else who needs to track progress and impact of intervention. Many people have used the ‘free ELSA assessments on the site’ (and these do still remain free for you to download) and many people have asked me for an electronic version. I am very pleased with the result and I have had some testers, testing for me. They report how easy they are to navigate and love the information that is so easy to see.

These are so quick and easy to fill in. No calculating to do as it is all done for you. It is a matter of clicking a number for each statement.

They will work on a computer or laptop but NOT on an IPAD or phone and you must have EXCEL installed on your computer.

This download gives your school a licence to use these assessments. This means you only need to buy one for your school and everyone in your school can use it. If you are in an Academy then one should be purchased for each school in your Academy or if you contact me I am sure we can come to an arrangement.

There are two EXCEL files included in the pack. One is for the teacher to fill in or someone who knows the child well and the other is for the child to fill in with support from an adult.

A person or persons who know the child the best should fill in these forms, NOT the ELSA, unless of course you know them better than anyone else and perhaps work in class with them. It is really important to speak to parents too because sometimes behaviours from home may be interfering with the child at school or there maybe some background information that needs adding to the forms. This may inform your planning. I have added 3 targets to the bottom of each sheet. This will help you decide on what you are going to do with them. You can’t tackle everything at once so do it in stages.
