SMART target list – Item 509

This is an electronic SMART target list. This was a request from an ELSA who wanted to be able to list all of her pupils and what their targets are.

• Date of target
• Pupil’s name
• Age of pupil
• Class
• Target
• Date achieved

You can just print this as it is if you want to handwrite or if you want to fill it in electronically you can do by typing in the blue boxes. The boxes have each been formatted so that you can write as much as you like. The text will auto adjust. The more you write the smaller your text will become. This is handy for keeping everything neat and tidy on one sheet. There is space for 15 pupils on this sheet. Simply start a new sheet if you have more pupils than that.

When you have input your data, click ‘save as’ and rename your file. You can keep adding to this list by opening the file and just saving it.

I have also included two other handy sheets which will help you plan for SMART targets.

The first is an ideas sheet – what ideas do you have that can help this pupil achieve their target? This is a brain storming sheet or brain dump. List down as many ideas as you can. Then decide which ones you will use and which resources you need to do this.

The second sheet is a planning ladder – this is a ladder broken up into 6 parts. Decide on the learning object for each part. All those learning objectives should help your pupil reach their target. Use the ideas list to help you.
