How do you say it? – Item 159
This resource is included in The ELSA Games Bundle – Item 331 - take a look and see how much you could save when buying this bundle!
How do you say it? – This game will help children practice different tones of voice in a fun way. Children choose an emotion card and a phrase. Then they must read the phrase in the tone of voice of the emotion card.
So for example, they might pick ‘angrily’ and ‘Can I borrow your pen?’ They must say the phrase in an angry voice. Lots of discussion can be had whether that would be the right tone of voice to use or would it be better to use a different tone of voice.
Included in the How do you say it pack is a game board which I would suggest you print on A3 card and laminate, 18 emotion cards and over 50 phrases or sentences.
You can play the game or just use the cards on their own.
