Paper chains for sessions – Item 473
I have had this idea for a while and talk about it in one of the free resources on how to use paper chains in sessions. One of the questions asked a lot is ‘How do I finish a set of sessions with a child?‘ Pupils enjoy being with you and don’t want the sessions to end. This idea is to make a paper chain in your first session. If you have planned 6 sessions or 12 sessions or something in between with a pupil then make the paper chain with that many links.
At the end of each session the pupil takes one link from the chain, fills in the prompt and takes it away. They can visually see how many sessions are left. The prompts are positive or are based on what the pupil learnt in the session. I have included a file with lots and lots of different paperchains.
In the paper chains for sessions pack:
- blues
- brights
- pinks and purples
- pastels
- pastel patterns
- mindful colouring one
- mindful colouring two
- Christmas mindful colouring
- Christmas
- dots
- stripes
Please see the photos for the different designs available.
I have also included an editable file with all the above patterns and colours that you can edit in PowerPoint. The text is editable so you can change it to your own prompts or take off the prompt completely.
