Feeling Colour Monsters – Item 378
This Resource is included in Early Years ELSA Starter Pack bundle – Item 448 - take a look and see how much you could save when buying this bundle!
These feeling colour monsters are perfect for younger children to learn about emotions. There are 20 different feelings/emotions covered in the pack. There are so many things you can do with this pack and a little booklet is included to give you some ideas. I am sure you will have plenty of your own too.
These resources are fabulous for EYFS or young children. They are fun and colourful and clearly show good facial expressions. I am sure the children will enjoy trying to make all the different faces. Like any emotions work it is good to start with just a few emotions and build up. So introduce one monster at a time to the children. I would suggest starting with ‘Happy, then sad, angry, scared, surprised and disgusted. You will have then covered the 6 core emotions as suggested by Paul Eckman.
Included in the pack:
- A5 feeling monster cards with words (20)
- Small (approx A6) feeling monster cards with words(20)
- A5 feeling monster cards without words (20)
