ELSA Referral Fillable form – Item 665

This is our ELSA Referral fillable form. This was a request from an ELSA where her school were trying to go paperless as much as possible and she asked for our referral form to be fillable on the computer. Here are some more details.

Overview

The PDF needs to be opened with ‘Adobe Reader’ which is standard on most computers. It can easily be installed if needed and is completely free. These PDFs may work in other readers but these notes have been written based on Adobe Reader.

Text boxes

When you open your PDF with Adobe Reader, you will see blue boxes These are there to show you where you can type. Don’t worry these don’t show if you print your resource. Each text box has a font embedded so you can’t change the actual font. The text size is automatically adjusted depending on how much you write. So the more you write, the smaller the text will become. Be concise and only write what you need to. KEY POINTS ONLY.

Drop down boxes

You will find two drop down boxes for scaling. Simply click the box and choose a number from 1 to 10.

To save the file

For saving the file once filled in, all you need to do is click ‘FILE’ then ‘SAVE AS’ find your folder name your file.

To print your file

To print your file, click ‘FILE’ then ‘PRINT’, set the size of your paper to A4, check the box ‘fit to the printable area’, then print.
