Asking for help Pupil Leaflet – Item 724
This printable ‘Asking for help pupil leaflet’ is specially designed for children aged 7 to 11, offering gentle, neuroaffirming guidance on understanding when, why, and how to ask for help. Written with a trauma-informed approach, it aims to reassure children that asking for support is not a weakness but a strength. We do have a younger version here.
For many children, especially those who are neurodivergent or have experienced anxiety or adversity, asking for help can feel overwhelming or confusing. This resource breaks down the process in a calm, child-friendly way, giving children practical language, examples, and visual cues to boost their confidence in seeking support.
