This comprehensive set includes 48 unique cards, each featuring a distinct activity or technique tailored to help pupils self-soothe and achieve a state of calm.

The cards are 8 to an A4 page but if you want them bigger then print them onto A3 paper.
How to Use the Cards
- Identify Needs:
- Observe the pupil’s behaviour to determine which cards might be most beneficial at any given time. For example, if a pupil is feeling anxious, a breathing exercise or mindfulness practice might be appropriate.
- Introduce Gradually:
- Start by introducing one or two cards to the pupil, explaining the activity and its benefits. Allow them to become familiar with these techniques before introducing more cards.
- Create a Routine:
- Incorporate the use of these cards into the pupil’s daily routine. This can be done at specific times, such as during transitions between activities or when the pupil feels overwhelmed.
- Encourage Self-Selection:
- Empower pupils to choose the cards they feel will help them the most at any given moment. This promotes self-awareness and encourages active participation in their self-regulation.
- Monitor and Adapt:
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the cards and be open to making adjustments. Some techniques may be more beneficial at different times or in different situations.
