Reach the Star – Sad words
The object of this game is to learn some of the synonyms of the word ‘sad’.
Children play in pairs or you play with a child. They pick a card and decide whether it is a ‘sad’ word or some other emotion. If it is a sad word they can move one space up towards the star. If it is another emotion they stay where they are. Who can be the first to reach the star?
