Mindful March Wheel of Mindfulness
The Mindful March Wheel of Mindfulness is a simple, child-led activity that helps children slow down and notice the present moment. Using the blank wheel, children can draw or write words, short phrases, or small sentences about what they can see, hear, feel, smell, think, or notice around them.
The focus is on gentle awareness, noticing without judging. There are no right or wrong answers. Children are encouraged to complete the wheel at their own pace, making it a flexible and inclusive tool that supports calm reflection.
We offer two versions of the Wheel of Mindfulness:
Mindful March Wheel – Designed for the month of March, this version encourages children to notice seasonal changes, signs of spring, shifting weather, body sensations, and quiet everyday moments.
All-Year Wheel of Mindfulness – A flexible, season-neutral version that can be used anytime to support ongoing mindful awareness and reflection.
Both wheels are suitable for use in ELSA sessions, classrooms, small groups, or at home. Drawing is encouraged but optional, and minimal writing is required, so children of all ages and abilities can engage confidently with the activity.
