Little Mouse’s big book of fears
I was having a look around Smiths the other day and saw this book. It is a fantastic book for talking about worries and fears from spiders to things under the bed.
Great for ELSA work. What stands out about the book is the details- cut out maps , newspaper cuttings, handwritten scribbles, chewed pages, pencil images and pop ups you don’t know what each page will hold. You really go on a journey with poor little mouse- finding out about all different types of fears. Great for opening up discussion and allowing children to explore their own fears. Great for children to perhaps create their own fear journal/diary or they could perhaps make a collage of all the scary things. I have added this book to the ‘Book list for ELSAs’
