Finding the good in my day
Finding the Good in My Day is a gentle reflection activity designed to help children recognise and appreciate the positive moments in their everyday lives. By focusing on small, good things that happen such as a kind word, a fun activity, or a peaceful moment, children can begin to build gratitude and nurture a more positive outlook.
This calming, creative worksheet encourages children to write or draw three good things from their day and think about which one made them feel happiest. The simple structure makes it accessible for all ages, helping pupils develop self-awareness, mindfulness, and emotional resilience.
It’s perfect for end-of-day reflection, circle time, or as part of a wellbeing routine. The optional colouring corner adds an extra soothing element, promoting calm and focus.
Benefits include:
- Encourages gratitude and positivity
- Supports emotional awareness and reflection
- Helps children notice the small joys in daily life
- Provides a calming, mindful classroom or home activity
