How do you say it? – This game will help children practise different tones of voice in a fun way. Children choose an emotion card and a phrase and must read the phrase in the tone of voice of the emotion card.

So for example, they might pick ‘angrily’ and ‘Can I borrow your pen?’ They must say the phrase in an angry voice. Lots of discussion can be had  whether that would be the right tone of voice to use or would it be better to use a different tone of voice.

Included in the pack is a game board which I would suggest you print on A3 card and laminate, 18 emotion cards and over 50 phrases or sentences.

You can play the game or just use the cards on their own.
