Phone a Friend – Item 137
Children are encouraged to phone a friend and think about the positive characteristics of what makes a good friend with this resource. Children can ‘phone or text’ a friend and tell them what they like and appreciate about them. This could be an actual friend or an imaginary friend.
This resource has two different colours of phones and also blank phones so the children could decorate if they wish. There is also a set of statements which could be cut out and stuck onto the screen of the phones. There are also some blanks left for the children to write their own messages. The statements fit the small phones.
The large phones can be laminated or used as a worksheet. Children can hand write their text message to their friend on these.
