Make an emoji face resource for exploring emotions and feelings. So much potential with this resource.
***This file has been updated to incorporate a PowerPoint for making the faces. Great for online learning or if you have computer access for your sessions. You will need an up to date version of PowerPoint to use it.
This file is set up for A3 printing but could also be printed at A4 for a smaller resource. Personally I would do the laminated one as A3 and you can use it over and over again. If you just want a quick resource to print out and use then print on A4. It could be a good homework to send home.
Print all 4 sheets, laminate if you want to, and cut out. Children can add eyes or mouths to the circles to make emojis.
You could also ask them to make different emotions/feelings.
Understanding and recognising facial expressions can really help with empathy. You could make some expressions and ask the child how they might help someone who feels like that.
