Growing Feelings Display pack – item 434

This is a growing feelings display pack for your area or classroom. There are so many uses with this flexible pack of resources. The main part of the resource is the Mood tree. This is a visual representation of the mood of the class or group. Pupils can add a leaf to the tree depending on how they are feeling. What is the overall message the tree is showing when everyone has added their leaf. Is it showing mainly happy or some other feeling? This is a fabulous emotional register which could be used for EYFS or Primary.

Included in the pack:

• A large tree printable on A3 paper. You can blow it up further by choosing ‘Poster settings’ on your printer and printing it over several pages. Instructions included.
• A poem in A3 for display
• A banner – please choose poster on your printer and blow it up to the size you want. Instructions included.
• Leaves 3 to an A3 sheet
• Leaves 3 to an A4 sheet
• Flowers 1 to an A4 sheet
• Flowers 1 to an A3 sheet
• Editable flowers – you can write something different into the middle of each one -this is editable in PowerPoint
• Editable leaves – you can input a name if you wish – this is editable in PowerPoint

Use the editable leaves and input a pupils name. Give them a pack each of the leaves and each day or throughout the day they can add their leaf to the display. If you prefer not to have the names on display then ask them to write their name on the back of the leaf.

The flowers have synonyms of the emotion in the middle but there is an editable file included so feel free to change the vocabulary or write other things in the middle of each flower.

There are 12 emotions covered which includes – happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised, disgusted, worried, tired, confused, proud, calm and annoyed.
