Two Emotions tab booklets for pupils to learn about their emotions. There are two booklets, ‘difficult emotions’ and ‘positive emotions’. This helps pupils to recognise the difference.

Included in the pack are:

  • Difficult Emotions tab booklet which covers the emotions of angry, confused, disgusted, worried, embarrassed, sad, scared and shocked
  • Positive Emotions tab booklet which covers the emotions of excited, proud, happy, brave, grateful, calm, surprised and sad
  • Information for Adult – list of difficult emotion words and positive emotion words
  • Information for Adult – list of coping skills

Areas covered are:

  • synonyms of emotions
  • body signs
  • coping skills
  • thoughts
  • reasons for the emotion
  • promoting positive emotions
  • what you look like with that emotion
  • who does the emotion affect?

Tab booklets are a great way for pupils to be involved and take ownership of their emotions. They can help cut the booklets out and put them together. A whole range of emotions are included to help pupils raise awareness of their emotional literacy. This will help resilience and self esteem.
