Calming Strategies Cut and Stick Sudoku
Calming Strategies Cut and Stick Sudoku
This simple and engaging calming strategies cut-and-stick sudoku activity has been designed to help children learn about calming strategies in a fun and hands-on way. Instead of numbers, children will complete the sudoku using four calming strategies: Breathe, Yoga, Exercise, and Draw, each represented by child-friendly images.
The activity encourages children to think logically while also reinforcing positive wellbeing strategies. It’s perfect for supporting discussions around emotional regulation, self-care, and coping skills in a gentle and accessible format. Children can colour in the images once they have completed the puzzle. This can be done mindfully and can be a lovely relaxing activity.
Children cut out the images and stick them into the sudoku grid, making sure each calming strategy appears once in every row, column, and box.
This resource makes a lovely, calm activity for the last days of term when routines are winding down, or it can be sent home to support wellbeing over the school holidays.
