This April, let’s focus on the power of Activity! Our Active April affirmations are designed to help children be more active, feel calmer and more peaceful. By practising these affirmations daily, children can build their self-esteem and emotional well-being.
Why Use Affirmations?
Using affirmations can be a powerful tool for children’s emotional well-being, mindfulness, and self-esteem.
These daily statements encourage them to:
- Be self aware
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Promote gratitude and kindness
How to Use Them with Children
Morning Ritual: Start each day by reading an affirmation together. Encourage children to think of one way they can practise it that day.
Group Sharing: Use the affirmations to start a group conversation about mindfulness.
Reflect & Celebrate: At the end of the day, have children reflect on how they have used mindfulness that day.
These affirmations are a wonderful addition to classrooms, wellbeing clubs, or home routines—helping to build a foundation of positive, loving relationships not just in April but for the whole year.
Let’s make Active April the perfect time to focus on activity and movement.
Included in the pack is a sheet with lots of affirmations and a cut off slip at the bottom for children to either copy their favourite or write their own. There is also an instruction sheet.
